We’re proud to mark a milestone at King’s College Hospital – Jeddah with our first bone ablation procedure at our Radiology department
A young athlete came to our IR clinic with leg pain. Imaging revealed an osteoid osteoma—a small but painful benign bone tumour.
Our IR team performed CT-guided radiofrequency ablation under spinal anesthesia. The patient was discharged the same day.
At follow-up, she was completely pain-free and no longer required any medication.
