Biography

Dr. Seraj is a consultant interventional cardiologist and consultant of internal medicine. He had 2 years of interventional cardiology training, during which he performed more than 2000 diagnostic coronary angiographies and 1000 PCIs. He also handled high-risk PCIs, including left main coronary artery interventions and TAVR. Additionally, he completed a broad range of structural heart interventions, including ASD, PAD, VSD, pulmonary valve, and aortic valve procedures.

He worked at King Fahad University Hospital in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, as an interventional cardiology consultant starting in July 2015. He then served as an interventional cardiology consultant at DSFH in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from September 2017 to September 2020. He was the Chairman of the Cardiac Center at IMC from September 2020 to April 2024.

Dr. Seraj is a former assistant professor of internal medicine at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University. His education includes an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, from 2013 to 2015, an internal medicine residency at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, from 2007 to 2010, and a cardiology residency training program at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. He graduated from medical school at King Abdul-Aziz University.
