Dr. Adnan began his career in cardiovascular medicine in 2003 as a cardiology resident at Menoufia University Hospital in Egypt, where he earned his master’s degree in cardiology. In 2009, he obtained his doctorate in cardiovascular disease (MD) from the same university.
In 2011, he joined King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center – Jeddah Branch as an assistant consultant in adult cardiology. In 2014, he embarked on the Saudi Adult Cardiology Fellowship Program, completing his three-year training, passing the final examination, and earning the Saudi Board of Adult Cardiovascular Disease certification in 2016. That same year, he became a diplomate in Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography, certified by the American Board of Echocardiography and accredited by the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE).
Dr. Adnan is recognized as a consultant cardiologist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the Egyptian Medical Syndicate. He also passed the Health Authority – Abu Dhabi (HAAD) examination, securing his consultant cardiology accreditation.
His career has seen him hold key roles in leading hospitals. In December 2017, he joined Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah as a consultant in non-invasive cardiology and head of the non-invasive cardiology laboratory. In October 2020, he moved to the International Medical Center (IMC) in Jeddah, where he served as a consultant in non-invasive cardiology, head of the non-invasive cardiology lab, and was responsible for training residents and fellows through the Level III – ADLX Active Deep Learning Experience program.
Most recently, in October 2024, Dr. Adnan joined King’s College Hospital London – Jeddah as a consultant cardiologist, continuing his commitment to excellence in patient care, research, and education.
