Your rights as a patient

Every patient at King's College Hospital London - Jeddah has the right to receive care regardless of nationality, religion, gender, or ability to pay for emergency treatment.

  • To be informed about your diagnosis, treatment options, risks, and expected outcomes in a language you understand.
  • To give or withhold informed consent before any procedure.
  • To access your medical records on request.
  • To have a family member or representative present during your care, subject to clinical needs.
  • To raise a complaint without fear of affecting the quality of your care.

Your responsibilities as a patient

Good care is a partnership. We ask you to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your health history, medications, and any previous treatments.
  • Follow the treatment plan agreed with your medical team, and tell us if you are unable to.
  • Treat our staff, other patients, and visitors with respect.
  • Arrive on time for appointments, or let us know in advance if you need to cancel.
  • Keep your insurance and contact details up to date.

How to make a complaint

Speak to the nurse or doctor responsible for your care, or ask to reach our Customer Care team. You can also share a complaint by email at info@kch.sa, or by calling our Care Line on 920066668. Every complaint is treated in confidence, and raising one will not affect the care you receive.
