King’s College Hospital London – Jeddah has announced the appointment of Dr. Ibrahim Alharfi as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 August 2026, bringing more than 25 years of leadership and executive experience across the healthcare sector. Dr. Alharfi joins King’s after a distinguished career across government healthcare systems, leading healthcare organizations, academia, private healthcare, and national projects. He brings extensive experience in leading and operating healthcare facilities and systems, developing strategies and transformation initiatives, improving performance and quality, and creating integrated healthcare models. Prior to joining King’s, Dr. Alharfi held several prominent leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of Health Services and Health Insurance at NEOM, Chief Medical Executive at King Fahad Medical City, and Chief Executive Officer of GlobeCare. His career combines medical expertise with executive leadership, with a continued focus on advancing healthcare services, strengthening organizational performance, and supporting sustainable growth. He has also pursued his education and executive development at several renowned international institutions, including Harvard Business School, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Oxford.
