Biography.

Prof. Raed Azhar is the Chairman of the Urology Department at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah. He is the President of the Arab Association of Urology and immediate past president of the Saudi Urological Association. He holds dual board certifications from the American and Canadian Boards of Urology. He completed his residency training at McGill University in Canada and prestigious fellowships in urologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA, under the supervision of world leaders in robotic surgery and minimally invasive urologic oncology. He has many publications in peer reviewed journal and has presented scientifically in many meetings and conferences around the world. He received several acclaimed awards. Prof. Azhar has extensive experience in treating a wide range of urologic conditions, including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers, benign prostatic hyperplasia, kidney and urinary tract stones, ureteral reconstruction, adrenal surgery, and other conditions.
